CEDAR PARK, Texas. Rameelo has partnered with G2 Entertainment for a two-night Bollywood Dandiya weekend at the Austin Sports Center in Cedar Park: Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2026. Tickets start at $15.
Austin has been underserved, and that is changing
Texas garba coverage is a Houston and Dallas story. Both metros run deep calendars with national headliners, and our Houston and Dallas guides cover them in full.
Austin has largely been the drive. A three-hour run to Houston or Dallas is a reasonable thing to do once a season; it is not a reasonable thing to do on a Friday after work, which is why a lot of Austin's Gujarati and wider South Asian community simply has not had a regular Navratri floor of its own.
Two consecutive nights in Cedar Park, at the northern edge of the metro where much of that community actually lives, is a different proposition — a weekend you plan around rather than a trip you take.
Bollywood dandiya is its own format
This is a DJ-led Bollywood dandiya night, not a live-playback traditional garba, and the difference is worth understanding before you buy. A traditional raas garba is built around an artist and a circle; a Bollywood dandiya night is built around the floor and the mix, with dandiya sticks and film music rather than long folk runs.
If you want the distinction properly, our garba vs. dandiya raas guide lays it out. Neither is the "real" version — they are two different evenings, and knowing which one you have a ticket to is most of having a good time.
Two nights, and why that shape works
A single night forces a whole metro through one door on one date. Two consecutive nights lets a scene breathe: friends who work Friday take Saturday, families with small children take the earlier one, and the people who want the whole weekend can have it. It also gives a growing market a second chance to convert someone who heard about it too late.
What Rameelo is handling
Rameelo runs ticketing across both nights: tiered pricing, group orders, ticket transfers, door scanning, and consolidated reporting so the organizer sees the weekend as one picture rather than reconciling two events by hand.

Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 7:00 PM at the Austin Sports Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
How much are tickets?
Tickets start at $15 per night. The two nights are ticketed separately, so you can buy either one or both — live pricing is on the listings below.
Do I need to bring dandiya sticks?
Check the event listing for what the organizer is providing. Many people bring their own pair; plenty of first-timers borrow.
