Organizer onboarding guide
Run your garba night.
Keep what you earn.
This is the whole picture — every step from your first message to the money landing in your account, what a buyer actually pays, and everything you get for it. Read it in ten minutes. Nothing here is a teaser.
Work out your own numbers
What does a ticket actually cost?
Put your ticket price in. Every figure below is computed by the same code that charges a real checkout, so what you see here is what a buyer is charged — never a rounded illustration.

How the buyer pays

Say the price is plus fees wherever you advertise it. A buyer who reads $25.00 and is charged $27.00 reads the difference as a price that moved on them.
A buyer paying by bank transfer skips the card fee: on this same $25.00 ticket they pay $25.75, and you keep the same $25.00.

Who pays what
Rameelo is paid by the buyer, never out of your revenue: 3% platform fee, plus 5% card processing if they pay by card — 8% in total. A bank transfer carries the 3% alone.
What the calculator leaves out
Bulk pricing, promo codes, early-bird windows and multi-night passes all change what a given buyer pays. They are yours to configure in the portal, and your own event page always states the exact price and the fee-inclusive total before anybody pays.
What’s involved
Eight steps, start to paid
There is no self-serve organizer sign-up, and that is deliberate — onboarding a garba organizer is a conversation about dates, venues, artists and how you want to be paid. Here is the whole sequence so nothing about it is a surprise.
Tell us about your event
About three minutesFill in the organizer form — your name, your organization, the city, roughly when the event is, and the artist if you have booked one. There is no account to create and nothing to pay.
You’ll need
Your contact details and a rough date. Nothing is final at this stage. We get back to you
Usually a day or twoA real person on the Rameelo team reads every application and replies. Onboarding a garba organizer is a conversation about dates, venues, artists and how you want to be paid — not a sign-up form, which is why there is no self-serve organizer account.
Onboarding form and agreement
Fifteen minutesWe send you a private link — no login needed — that collects the details we are missing and puts our agreement in front of you to sign. It sets out that Rameelo is your ticketing partner: you run the event, you keep the ticket revenue, and we handle selling, ticketing and the money.
You’ll need
A signature, and any documents your venue or city requires.Payout account
Five minutesAdd the bank account we should send your money to, plus a mailing address. It is stored encrypted and entered once — you confirm the account number twice and review it before it is saved, because a payout sent to a mistyped account is the hardest thing to unwind.
You’ll need
Bank account and routing number for the organization.Build the event
Under an hour for a first eventYour portal opens. Add the nights, the venue, the run of show, your cover artwork, and as many ticket types as you want — general admission, VIP, couples, kids, early bird. Set bulk pricing so a group of ten gets a better rate, or a multi-night pass that covers a whole Navratri run.
You’ll need
Artwork, your prices, and the times doors open and close.Go live and sell
Minutes to publishPublish, and your event gets its own page, a share link for your Instagram bio, and a place on Rameelo's city pages and home feed. Email your past attendees, run group orders, take walk-ups at the counter on the night, and watch sales move in real time.
Work the door
Set up in ten minutesEvery ticket carries its own QR code. Your team scans them from a phone — no extra hardware and no app store detour — and any of them can be a scanner without seeing your revenue. Print the guest list and the run sheet as a paper backup in case the venue's signal lets you down.
You’ll need
A phone per door, and your volunteers added to the team.Get paid
Requested in one tapRequest your payout from the portal. Once the night has happened your ticket revenue is released in full, and you get an itemised statement showing every ticket, every refund and every deduction that got you to the figure.
What you get

- Kids and add-on tickets bought in the same checkout as the adults
- Promo codes, early-bird windows and timed flash sales
- Group orders your attendees organise themselves from a shared link
- Apple Pay and Google Pay in one tap, with no form to fill in
- Card or bank transfer, and bank transfer costs them less

- Live door progress across every lane, and a printed guest list as backup

Getting paid
How the money reaches you
The figures below are always live in your portal, per event and across your organization. We would rather explain a hold up front than have you find one.
Rameelo deducts nothing from your ticket revenue
The ticket price you set is the ticket price you keep. The platform fee and the card fee are charged to the buyer on top of it, never taken out of it.
Money settles when the night is over, or fourteen days after the order — whichever is first
A ticket sold two months out settles two weeks later. Anything still held when your event finishes is released the moment the night is over, because the window exists to cover a night that has not happened yet.
Your payouts page shows what is settled and what is still inside the window.
A share is reserved until the event has actually happened
Rameelo holds back an agreed percentage of settled revenue until your last night is over, so a cancellation or a postponement can be refunded without us chasing you for the money. It is a hold, not a charge — it never reduces what you are owed, only what is payable today.
The percentage is in your agreement, and the amount is a named line on your payouts page.
You request the payout; nothing moves without you
Your balance is always visible and you ask for it when you want it. Every payout is listed with its status, and every figure traces back to a statement you can read line by line.
Anything that reduces your balance is named on the page
A refund you chose to absorb, a marketing service you asked us to fund out of ticket revenue, an ad spend your agreement commits you to — each is its own labelled line. You should never see a smaller number without a sentence explaining it.
Your payouts page, and the statement for each event.
Optional
Paid help, only if you want it
Everything above is included. Separately, Rameelo can also do the work with you — run your Instagram and Facebook ads, email your city, produce the creative, print and track physical tickets, or put a team on your door. None of it is required and nothing about your event depends on it.
These are priced individually, and the figure is always shown before you pay — either on the purchase screen in your portal or in a written breakdown from our team. We deliberately quote no number here: a price on a page outlives the day it was true.

What organizers ask us
Nothing. There is no monthly fee, no setup fee and no per-event charge, and Rameelo deducts nothing from your ticket revenue. We are paid by a 3% platform fee charged to the buyer on top of your ticket price. Services we run FOR you — ads, email, creative, printing, door staff — are optional and priced separately; ask us and we will send you the figures.
Your ticket price, plus the 3% platform fee, plus 5% card processing if they pay by card — 8% in total. A buyer who pays by bank transfer skips the card fee and pays only the 3%. The calculator above shows both figures on your own price.
Yes, and you do not need us to switch anything on. Set the ticket price low enough that the price plus the fees lands on the number you want to advertise — the calculator solves it for you. You keep less than the advertised number, because the fees come out of it.
Your revenue settles fourteen days after the order or the day after your event, whichever comes first — so once the night is over, everything is released. A share is reserved until the event has actually happened, to cover refunds if it is cancelled or postponed; that is a hold rather than a charge, and it is a named line on your payouts page.
No. You can record tickets you sold yourself — at the door, over Zelle, to a group in a WhatsApp chat — and they sit alongside the online sales as real tickets with real QR codes. They are kept separate from the money we collected, because you already have that cash.
Issue as many as you need. A comp is a real, scannable ticket and is counted on its own line — it never lands in a revenue figure and never inflates what you sold.
Yes. Add them as scanners and they get the door and nothing else — no revenue, no attendee contact details, no payouts. Owners and admins see everything; you decide who is which.
You can refund at face value yourself, from the order. The buyer's ticket price comes out of your event revenue, and the fees they paid are non-refundable — we say exactly what they do and do not get back in the email we send them, so it does not become your support ticket.
We handle the attendee emails and the refunds. On a postponement their existing ticket carries over to the new date with the same QR code and the price they paid. This is the case the reserve exists for.
No. Everything works in a browser on any phone. There is an iPhone and iPad app if your attendees want one, and your door team can scan from any phone either way.
You sign an agreement setting out who does what, and it has no minimum, no exclusivity and no term you are locked into. Some agreements include a commitment to spend a share of ticket sales on advertising the night — if yours does, it is written in it and tracked on your payouts page.
That is what this was built for. Each night is its own event with its own door and its own statement, and a multi-night pass admits its holder to every night it covers, scanned fresh at each one. The money is booked once, on the night the pass was bought through.
Still something unanswered?
Ready when you are.
Tell us about your event and a real person will get back to you. No account to create, nothing to pay, and nothing committed at this stage.
