Rameelo Partners with Voice of India USA for Ramo Re Garba in Los Angeles

POMONA, Calif. — June 10, 2026. Rameelo has partnered with Voice of India USA to power ticketing for Ramo Re Garba | Los Angeles, bringing Jigardan Gadhavi to the LA Knight Riders Cricket Stadium in Pomona on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Tickets are on sale from $39.

Voice of India USA is a non-profit that has been running community programming in Southern California since 2020, with a mission they state simply: preserving Indian culture and creating experiences that inspire unity, growth and connection.

An outdoor garba in late August

Holding garba in a cricket stadium is a deliberate choice, and in Southern California in late August it is the right one. Open air, room to actually form circles rather than shuffle in place, and none of the ceiling-height and ventilation compromises that come with putting two thousand dancing people inside a banquet hall.

The date is early by Navratri standards — late August rather than late September — which for the SoCal calendar is an advantage. It opens the season rather than competing in the middle of it, and it gives dancers a night that is not stacked against three other events across the LA basin.

Jigrra's set is built on traditional Gujarati folk, and an outdoor floor is where that material works best — long, unbroken raas sequences with the space for a circle to actually move. Expect a set that leans on the old songs and a floor that keeps going well past the point most events wind down.
